Customised Pre-Plumbed 'Gold Shield' Combination Units
The Lycris-Byrne Pre-plumbed Combination Hot and Cold water storage units are designed primarily for apartments. Delivery to the outgoing hot and cold supplies may be by gravity feed or pump.
Each unit comprises of a cold water storage tank mounted over a copper cylinder (hot water storage), relevant isolation valves, energy cut-out electric immersion heaters, internal feed and expansion piping. The entire unit is insulated to E.S.B. "Gold Shield" standard, with the exception of the cold water storage tank lid, which is not insulated.

IMPORTANT:-
Electric Immersion Heaters may require further tightening prior to energising and testing. The entire Combination Unit must be filled with water before the Immersion Heaters are energised. The Immersion Heaters are fitted with a high limit safety cut-out.
A Lycris-Byrne Indirect Copper Cylinder maybe used in place of a 'Gold Shield'** Copper Cylinder
** 'Gold Shield' is the E.S.B. trade mark for their Heat Electric Energy Efficient Homes.
