One of the results of this process is the relatively simple but high-energy recovery “pancake” solar collector coil of 1.5m² surface area in a triple coil cylinder. This is the largest area of any we have seen and allows rapid heat recovery and is only possible because of the unique “pancake” coil design
The “Copper Hot Shots” and “Booster Tubes” are other typical examples of market led innovative design.
You do not have to replace your existing hot water cylinder when installing solar panels by using the “Booster Tubes” to collect the heat from the solar panels and feed it to your cylinder. This results in a more economical installation and therefore a shorter payback.
The *“Copper Hot Shots” can be used to reduce your electricity bill by retrofitting it to your “Gold Shield” cylinder and still retaining the cheaper “night rate” electricity advantage.
