Stainless Steel Indirect (1" fittings all round) Cylinders
The Lycris-Byrne range of Stainless Steel Cylinders, complete with 1" Cold Feed, 1" Expansion and 1" coil, may be used in all indirect heating systems. These cylinders are particularly suitable for use with solar panels, heat pumps or wind turbines in ‘open vent’ installations or in closed systems.
When installed in a closed (pressurised) system suitable expansion vessel, control valves and safety valves must be used.
- There is a 1/2" port giving provision for a probe thermostat.
- These cylinders are fitted with one 3kW electric immersion heater.
- A second 1 & 3/4" port giving provision for an optional extra 3kW electric immersion heater.
- The cold feed, expansion/hot water take-off and the coil flow and return are all 1" female fittings.
- The external insulation complies with “Part L” of the Irish Building Regulations (Amendment) 2007.
Capacities - 150 and 210 litres
IMPORTANT:-
Electric Immersion Heaters may require further tightening prior to energising and testing. Cylinders must be filled with water before the Immersion Heaters are energised. Electric Immersion Heaters are fitted with a high limit safety cut-out.
