The copper cylinders range in size from 1 gallon to 300 gallon capacity
and from 1 bar to 3 bar operating pressure, suitable for open expansion.
The type of copper cylinder varies from Direct to Indirect, Dual
Coil and Triple Coil and may be insulated or painted according to
customer specification.
The company operates a quality policy and every copper cylinder
is individually tested and certified by the quality controller.
Every copper cylinder performs to the requirements of the operating
conditions of I.S. or B.S. 699.
Factory Insulated
All Lycris Byrne copper cylinders can be insulated
by our in-house insulation department using fire retardent H.F.C.-free
rigid polyurethane foam.
We are approved manufacturers of copper cylinders for E.S.B.'s Gold
Shield energy efficient homes and each of these copper cylinders
carries the E.S.B. Gold Shield Award.

ANODE
A sacrificial anode is put in a cylinder to prolong the life of
the cylinder in areas with aggressive water.
Grade 3 Cylinders
Suitable for Reservoir supply only - 10 metre head - 20 psi. For
use with open expansion systems only.
Grade 2 Cylinders
Suitable for well supply or "group scheme" - 15 metre
head - 40 psi. For use with open expansion systems only.
Grade 1 Cylinders
Suitable for well supply or "group scheme" - 20 metre
head - 60 psi. For use with open expansion systems only.
