Lycris-Byrne - Copper & Steel Cylinders

A Lycris-Byrne Indirect Copper Cylinder may be used in place of a "Gold Shield"* Copper Cylinder
* 'Gold Shield' is the E.S.B. trade mark for their Heat Electric Energy Efficient Homes.

These units are available as standard in the following sizes:-

(a) 50 gallon cold water storage & 30 gallon hot water storage
(b) 60 gallon cold water storage & 35 gallon hot water storage
(c) 70 gallon cold water storage & 40 gallon hot water storage

OUTSIDE DIMENSIONS OF UNIT (excluding pipework):

(a) Diameter: 530mm - Height: 2100mm.
(b) Diameter: 600mm - Height: 2100mm.
(c) Diameter: 685mm - Height: 2100mm.

Other variations in sizes are available on request.

SPECIFICATIONS:-

Electrical: 220v/240v 50 Htz Single Phase.

Controls: Single point wiring to a "Gold Shield" control panel or standard control panel.

Immersion Heaters: Two 3kW Side Entry Immersion Heater with energy cut-out safety feature.

Water Connection Sizes:
1. Water Mains Inlet:	½" B.S.P.
2. Pressurised Cold Water supply from Cylinder (through pump):	¾" B.S.P.
3. Pressurised Hot Water supply from Cylinder (through pump):	¾" B.S.P.
4. Separate Cold Water Feed to Cistern:	½" B.S.P.
5. Separate Hot Water Draw Off (high flow):	¾" B.S.P.
6. Drain Off:	½" B.S.P.

The unit is insulated to E.S.B."Gold Shield" standard. The lid for the storage tank is uninsulated.
