Bottle Heaters
Lycris Byrne “Bottle” Heaters are an alternative means of heating water in copper or glass lined steel cylinders, and should be fitted external to same as per diagram below. The cold feed for the “Bottle” Heater is drawn from the bottom of the cylinder and as the water is heated it is passed into the top of the cylinder. As a result hot water may be drawn from the cylinder and the “Bottle” Heater simultaneously when a hot water tap is turned on.
